Awards
Armed Forces Humanitarian Service Medal
September 2011 Awarded medal for efforts in support of humanitarian aid efforts during Fukushima-Daichi reactor plant accident of 2011.
Accomplishments
Awarded Admiral’s Letter of Commendation for performance as radiological decontamination support team member during the Fukushima reactor accident of March 2011.
Played a major role in preventing the spread of radioactive contamination throughout the USS Ronald Reagan and its aircraft allowing the delivery of thousands of pounds of food and clean water during its humanitarian support mission in the region.

US Navy Career

While possessing Top Secret Government Security Clearance: Supervised, operated, and performed organizational level maintenance on mechanical systems for nuclear propulsion plants including propulsion and electrical turbines, desalinization plants, refrigerant units, air compressors, air driers/moisture separators, and other auxiliaries and support systems.
Extensive maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Planned, scheduled, and ensured completion of both corrective and required maintenance. Supervised and trained a group of 30 personnel on maintenance practices. Liaison between multiple work organizations both military and civilian.
Civilian Career
- Project Manager – Senior Commissioning Agent

Design reviews including OPR, BOD, Plans, and Specifications. Review of submittals and shop drawings. Developing Commissioning Plans. Operated, maintained, and scheduled third-party service for (5) 2-Chiller HVAC Central Plants and associated automated building management systems (BMS) and Fire & Life Systems for 650,000+ sq ft of class “A” multi-tenant Bio-med facilities and associated data centers. Expeditiously learned multiple facilities layouts and operations within a short time frame of 1 month. Assumed full responsibility for all facets of operation at the facilities within 2 months of hire.
- Maintenance Manager
Tesla Automotive/Futuris Automotive – Newark, CA – July 2015 to July 2017
Built and implemented Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including writing, scheduling, and tracking preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and standard operating procedures for the 5-member maintenance team. Responsible for maintaining continuity of operation of various PLC platforms running automated vehicle seating, robotic headliner assembly, and robotic welding assembly lines by performing daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance, Electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance immediately as the need arises.
