Robert Keegan’s direct and personal experience with the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs gives participants of the Veterans ACT an expedited advantage to learn, utilize, and succeed with the wealth of resources and opportunities made available to United States Veterans.
Keegan’s personal experience learning and practicing “Being Trainable” and the “Professional Parenting” methodology gives him a truly unique and wonderful opportunity to make a difference helping and empowering fellow Veterans managing through the transition from Military life to a Civilian lifestyle.
As a VA Healthcare enrollee, Keegan received healthcare from the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. His firsthand experience with the VA has been outstanding. He’s thankful of all the professional care he’s received over the years and is proud to be part of the Veterans ACT empowering Veteran Administration healthcare programs.
U.S. Air Force
Keegan was stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, 405 EMS (TAC). Luke Air Force Base is a training base for fixed-wing aircraft, their primary mission is to support the base’s air education and training operations.
Keegan conducted and participated in flight training exercises, personnel transportation, search and rescue, and the highly valued daily helicopter maintenance. He participated in several joint military exercises throughout the region. Keegan also supported air operations at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field during fixed wing training.
In 1980 Keegan was transferred to MacDill Air Force Base, 56 EMS (TAC) Tampa, Florida. At MacDill Air Force Based Keegan continued to support the base’s air education and training operations. He continued conducting daily helicopter maintenance, flight training exercises, personnel transportation, and search and rescue. At MacDill Air Force Base Keegan also participated in joint military exercises and search and rescue throughout the region.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force Keegan worked with several corporations. He had a wonderful career in the event management and production industry. Keegan also spent many years as a Real Estate Agent in Hoboken, NJ.
Keegan lives in Naperville, IL with his wife Aniko and daughter Shannon.
